1. Introduction & Acceptance

Welcome to our platform ("We", "Us", "Our", "Portal"). By accessing, registering, or using our website, whether as a Client seeking legal help or as a Legal Professional providing advice, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any of our services.

2. Nature of the Platform

Our platform operates strictly as an Intermediary Technology Platform (under the Information Technology Act, 2000). We provide a bridge connecting individuals seeking legal counsel with independent legal professionals.

3. Terms for Clients (Users)

As a user seeking legal advice, you agree to the following conditions:

• Age Restriction: You must be at least 18 years of age to form a binding contract.
• Accuracy of Information: You agree to provide true, accurate, and complete information regarding your legal issue.
• No Attorney-Client Privilege on Forums: Posting a query on the public forum does not create an attorney-client relationship. Such relationships are only formed through private, direct engagement with a lawyer.
• Independent Verification: While we verify Bar Council credentials, you are responsible for making the final decision before hiring a lawyer for real-world representation.

4. Terms for Legal Professionals (Lawyers)

Advocates and Legal Professionals registering on our platform are bound by the following professional standards:

• Confidentiality: Any data shared by a client in a "Private Inquiry" must be treated with absolute confidentiality and attorney-client privilege.
• Platform Fees: If you are subscribed to a premium lawyer plan, fees are non-refundable unless stated otherwise. We do not guarantee a specific number of client leads.

5. Public Forum Guidelines

To maintain a clean and professional environment, the following actions are strictly prohibited on the public Legal Forum:

• Posting spam, promotional material, or irrelevant links.
• Using abusive, threatening, or defamatory language.
• Sharing highly sensitive Personal Identifiable Information (PII) such as bank account numbers, Aadhar numbers, or exact names of opposing parties in an ongoing legal dispute.

We reserve the right to delete any post or comment that violates these guidelines without prior notice.

6. Payments & Refunds

For Clients: Any fees paid directly to the platform for booking a consultation slot are subject to our cancellation policy. If a lawyer fails to attend a scheduled paid consultation, you are entitled to a full refund or a free reschedule. However, fees negotiated and paid directly to the lawyer outside our platform are beyond our jurisdiction.

For Lawyers: Platform subscription fees (if applicable) are billed in advance. Refunds for subscription cancellations are processed solely at the discretion of the management.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Platform shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from:

• Your use of or inability to use the platform.
• Any legal advice obtained from a lawyer through the platform. (The liability lies solely with the professional providing the advice).
• Any unauthorized access to our servers and/or any personal information stored therein, despite our robust security measures.

8. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account (Client or Lawyer) immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will cease immediately.
